From a photographic trip to Brighton I took to visit one of my sons Oliver. We saw the fisherman returning from a days trawling. Who wouldn’t want to paint decapod crustaceans!

Inspiration came during the period of my ownership of a house in the village of Rieux Minervois in the South of France. From the house I frequently visited Narbonne Plage; an unspoilt length of beach.
